There are three motives for which we live: the body, the mind, and the soul. None of these is better than the other, are all alike and equally important. No one can live fully if any of these three is cut short of full expression. The body, mind, and soul are all connected as a system of energy. We connect our body, mind, and spirit to keep the energy flowing within us. The flow of energy depends on our state of being at any given moment, and it changes constantly. Our state of being impacts our well-being. It refers to how balanced we feel on all levels of our being. Whether we're happy, sad, sick, healthy, out of touch with the spirit or not, and how aligned we are or at odds with who we really are. This is what wellness is all about.
