The future is your friend! I know, it may not feel that way but thank God feelings are not facts. Emotions can carry you far away to a lost place where you believe you will never be found. Life's pain can sometimes be unbearable. I am living proof that it will be better.

Life, Love, Loss...Keep looking ahead, look up. Sometimes it "feels" like the end...but it's not. And there is so much joy and even happiness that awaits us.

We all feel invisible at times and unappreciated. But perhaps you are more cherished than you know. Think hard on your life and add up those blessings. You are worth so much.

Legacy. It's a word, a thought that I think people don't really understand. It seems to be more about ego, a narcissistic grasp at immortality than anything these days. When I ponder it, I wonder if people are better off for having known me. Have I been a real friend, a true bother, and a kind neighbor? What did I do with my life? And what have you to say?

Anger, Strife, Hatred, Division...have we lost our way? I say, yes! We sit in front of our screens and say things that we would never dream of saying in person. Living in a world that is completely about...ourselves. There is a way to correct this and get us talking again.

Peace...says it all. Stop fighting for just a moment, stop struggling and abide. Be still and know that He is God. He knows what you're going through. Give God a moment to comfort you.

Lost and lonely. Even when surrounded by a great number of people we can feel alone and forgotten. But are we? Is it just a feeling or something we're telling ourselves? Regardless, it can feel overwhelming. I feel the same way too, so let's walk through this together.

Psalm 4-6

Life is never as good as it seems and in turn, is never as bad as it seems. Trouble comes to us all but we know someone who has faced the same trouble and risen above it. Perhaps we can even boast of our troubles because we know that God's grace is bigger than anything this world can throw at us. I've always come out better and stronger on the other side. Knowing this makes the difficult times a little less difficult. God's got you!

Life has ups and downs, but knowing that others have faced and overcome similar struggles, and believing in God's grace, can make difficult times easier.

Enveloped in constant negativity, it's easy to become discouraged and downhearted. Let's take some time to focus on the wonderful things that God is and does.

Gratitude

How is it that someone (Paul) could feel freer in prison than we feel outside of it? Where did his hope lie? Yes, Paul had a miraculous conversion but other than that he was a person just like you and me. The same God he relied on is the same God that waits for you today.

Paul found freedom in prison through his reliance on God, and the same God is available to provide hope and freedom to anyone today.
