From birth we develop wonderful and incredibly complex brains, yet none of us has an instruction manual to guide us in their use. By practicing mindfulness meditations we can become familiar with our minds, befriend them, and get to know how they work. Through this process we develop the skills and attitudes that will help us to navigate the endless stream of thoughts, feelings and sensations that we all experience: We begin to respond skilfully to life’s events, rather than reacting to them automatically.

Mindfulness meditations can seem so simple and easy, yet at the same time, confusing and challenging for anyone beginning to practice. My intention with this channel is to help you to cultivate a personal mindfulness practice that can grow and develop within the structure of your life. To help you to achieve this, I’ll be offering a range of mindfulness and compassion meditations that can help you to discover the potential of mindfulness, develop your personal practice in a way that suits you, and to deepen your practice over time: Micro meditations for moments of difficulty, short meditations to help you keep in touch with your practice when life is full, and a spectrum of longer meditations to enable you to deepen your practice at your own pace.

From my background in evidence-based clinical mindfulness teaching it’s my heartfelt hope that I will be able to help you cultivate your mindfulness practice, in ways that will make it engaging, beneficial and long lasting.
