A Wrathful Deity

We’re at the Monkey temple again, this time to explore the Stupa with its 4 sides. The Temple, has four sides, facing in the 4 cardinal directions, each side representing one of the Buddha families. Today I’m focussing on the eastern side of the stupa, the Vajra Family. This family represents the transformation of anger into mirror-like wisdom. Vajra is associated with the element of water and is often depicted with a blue color.
