-The anchoring bias is the tendency to rely too heavily on one aspect or piece of information when making decisions (usually the first piece of information acquired on that subject). -Common source/method: Using research or information from only one source or sources using the same methods -Functional (role) fixation: Use it only how it is supposed to be used -Law of the instrument: Reliance on only tools or methods currently known. (Leads to "stuckness")
