When you are experiencing fears, worries, doubts, and anxiety, and someone says to you, "just let it go" you would love to but you can't. Just like if someone says to you "don't think about pink elephants" you will only think about them even more. So what is the solution to being free from anxiety? Meditation is the solution state. By using a mantra and knowing the Knower of the anxiety and knowing that you are not your thoughts, you can make that shift to the fourth state or higher state of consciousness where you are free from anxiety.
