Reuben guides us, to help us drop into a spiritual connection with ourselves. These affirmations have been written to give us some simple guidance, simply to honor ourselves. This includes relating to our emotions in an open and receptive way. The example of the sadness that is sometimes within us is used within this practice. We start with a simple introduction to settle us in, then a meditative countdown to get us into the practice. Finally, we get to absorb these affirmations with their ambient cinematic music. This, ideally, brings us into a wiser and kinder acknowledgment, and appreciation of ourselves.
