Letting go and forgiving isn’t about the other person, it’s about the relationship within ourselves. When we hold onto the emotions associated with anger and resentment, we create an internal reality that is dysfunctional and non-productive. It’s okay to feel anger and resentment but holding onto these feelings for too long can be unhealthy. Let’s give ourselves this time to find a place of inner peace and embrace the forgiveness in our hearts so we can function in a healthier way.
