When we're in pain, most of us tend to tense up, to harden around the pain, almost as if to protect ourselves from this sensation. We tense up the shoulders when we have back pain a headache or menstrual cramps. In this meditation, I'll invite you to soften around the pain and give yourself lots of love and compassion.
