This kids’ meditation is for opening the senses in a fun and playful way. This is both a gentle talk with a meditative feel to it. There are different ways we can do this. We don’t just engage in the sense of sight, sound, and touch, but there’s also an experiment that is used with the breath, so they get to choose their favorite point of focus. We get to absorb ourselves not only in this array of sounds but also in a moment to appreciate just what’s around us in the very room we are in right now. We then finish with some simple affirmations as a gentle reminder here.
