Shree guides you through visualization and meditation whereby you can stop the initial impulse that leads you to feel anxious. In the yogic system, this is known as a vritti, or wave of perception. Scientifically, it has been shown by the great scientist Stephen Hawkins in an experiment using a clock and the brain hooked up to an EKG, that before you actually have a thought there is an unconscious impulse. This can be useful when it is helpful but destructive when it is unhelpful. Through this visualization using a clock and using the breath and the mantra, amaram hum madhuram hum, coupled with knowing the Knower you can live in the meditate awareness and be free from a troubled state of mind.
