Gigantomachy - Battle of Gods & Giants

This story is a shortened version of The Gigantomachy. This battle was waged between the Greek gods of Olympus and the Giants. The Olympians won, but it was a fierce battle. The Giants wanted dominion of their own. Mount Olympus was regarded as the home of the gods and where the King of the Gods - Zeus - lived. Greek mythology is complex. Gaia first produced Uranus (the sky), married him, and produced the Titans. From there the Titans created the Olympians and Gaia brought forth the Giants. Thank you for listening.
