The Gospel: A No Brainer

The apostle Paul famously wrote that the cross is foolishness to those who need it the most (1 Corinthians 1:18). I know this certainly was true for me. It is the nature of the world to keep us in a self-centered mindset, thinking that we are our god and our sovereign - yet when we taste suffering or loss we realize just how fragile we are. The gospel is a no-brainer for anyone honest with the problem of reality, that we all die and that we own nothing - nor can we control when we leave this Earth or lose people and things we love.
